Non-DEHP alternatives
At Hospira, we never stop listening. So when the FDA warned of the risks associated with DEHP,1 we committed significant resources to develop a comprehensive line of cost-effective, non-DEHP alternatives that are clinically identical to their original counterparts.
The transition to non-DEHP products minimizes the risk of adverse effects among neonates and other high-risk patients. Of course, as our non-DEHP products continue to become an integral part of healthcare facilities, all patients will be less exposed to the adverse effects of DEHP.
